How do I add audio clips to my profile?

Your public profile page can include audio clip links which automatically turn into playable audio waveforms.

Go here, add any additional hosted .mp3 link(s) toward the bottom of the page. Smack the update button and get back to your auditions!

At a minimum, your main demo is required. This was the .mp3 file you uploaded during registration. You can also change it at any time by editing your profile.

The Long Version

To add or change them, click the Edit Profile link from your account menu at the top right of the page. You must be logged in for this to appear. You can also click this link.

Once properly configured, your public profile page’s audio tab will look similar to this:

To make it look like that is super easy!

Just add full URLs to your .mp3 files. You can also add optional text to help organize and differentiate your various clips. All you need to do to turn your links into waveforms is to just add the links themselves. We’ll take care of the rest for you!

Important Notes:

  1. You can add a total of 5 to your profile: your main demo reel (a .mp3 file upload) and four additional (URLs to .mp3 files)
  2. Each URL must start with http:// or https://
  3. Each URL must be to a .mp3 file
  4. Because we analyze your audio file on the fly to create a waveform, keep the length under 2 minutes
  5. After pasting in your link, hit the return/enter key on your keyboard

Please note that we do not host any of your media files other than your headshot and main .mp3 demo file. If you’d like additional audio demos to appear, you must upload your files to a publicly-accessible (not behind a paywall or password-protected folder).

This can be your website or any file share service that allows public share URLs such as Dropbox. Just remember… if you move, delete, or rename your hosted files you’ll need to update your links here.

Here’s what a properly configured Audio Demos section looks like:

Once you added your audio links and optional titles, hit the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page, and you’re done! You’ll see them instantly on your public profile page.

A final note: Because of audio streaming problems with Mobile Safari that Apple has yet to resolve, the use of Chrome is encouraged for the best audio playing experience on macOS, iOS and iPadOS.
